A really nice feature for browsing on mobile would be to have touch detection (ontouchstart) for card tags.
This way, when browsing on mobile, touching a card tag could bring up the card tooltip, rather than actually following the link, then just click the card to actually follow, or touch away to hide it.
Right now there's a sort of workaround, where you can long touch a card tag to bring up the card tooltip, but then you also get browser context menus coming up and such.
Touch detection on card tags
So we already had this, but evidently it at some point stopped working on some mobile browsers (I didn't realize this until you pointed it out)
I've rebuilt it and changed how it works.
Touchstart opens the image popup, and you need to click the image to go to the card page.
This works on all mobile browsers I've tested.
Please let me know if you have any issues.

I know I broke it earlier, but I was pretty sure I fixed it.
Refreshed everything to be sure. Confirmed on my phone.
Is it working for you now?

It isn't working on Chrome on Android. If I find a card link and click on it, it pops up the card image *and* follows the link so I am brought to a new page. I assume it is just supposed to bring up the card image?
Also, somewhat related: is this how it is supposed to work on the main page links as well? I am looking at the "Discuss", "Explore", and "Tools" links on the top of the pages. On mobile, if I click one, it drops down the menu but also navigates to that page. Not sure if it is the same bit of coding handling both (though, this has never "worked" for me).

OK.
Should be good now.
Apologies. Honestly not sure what it didn't like the first time >_<
