Sh-sheeeeezus. Not sure about the viability of Giant tribal but this has the potential to be a partially one-sided wrath and then a game-ending threat that ALSO blocks if it's a race in the endgame.
Psst, check the second page of Custom Card Contests & Games! Because of the daily contests, a lot of games fall down to there.

Auto-include in Kalemne Commander decks? It even curves well.

I think its a sweet card, I just...... kind of wonder about how viable the creature side of this is. It is nice that the wrath portion is 5 mana and if your deck has giants in it / the commander it will be nice. I just wish..... the creature side looked maybe a little more viable.
Oddly, I could actually see this card maybe being played in standard. Five mana wraths are kind of the new baseline. You get the option to later cast a 7/7 which while its not amazing..... I could actually see it get some play.

For any of the Adventures with good spells, it's worth thinking of them like flashback spells. You'd never run a 5 mana 2 damage spell, but firebolt is still good because you're getting that as free value off casting it the first time. Similarly, you'd never run a 7 mana 7/7, but you'll use it as free value off your 5 mana wrath.ISBPathfinder wrote: ↑4 years agoI think its a sweet card, I just...... kind of wonder about how viable the creature side of this is. Welp, time to rebuild my red-white Giant Tribal commander deck.

The Monster world of Ikoria could also provide some solid giants.
“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
This looks like a very solid card. Five mana for a board wipe is a fine rate - not great, but can be good if you're able to make it asymmetric. Add in the giant beater later on, and you have a good card. Reminds me somewhat of Planar Outburst, although this one gives you the creatures later on instead.
