I don't like creature-creep, and essentially this is using trinket text that's neither inherently good nor bad to justify a 3/3 for . While those stats are nowadays not ridiculous, I still don't like it.

Reflections and mirrors show up a lot in Magic history, and with varied purpose. Older players will remember Mirror Universe, Reflect Damage and Pure Reflection (not to mention cards like Broken Visage), but recently reflections and mirrors still pop up in the form of Cryptolith Fragment // Aurora of Emrakul and Reflections of Littjara.
That's a long way of saying, I tried not to have any set expectations. So let's see what we get!
Kudos on considering the possibility of the Servant blocking more than one creature simultaneously (although I don't think that's technically required). An interesting alternative might be to make it able to copy any creature blocking or blocked by any other card called Mirrorsteel Servant, which adds the possibility of not just trading for your opponent's biggest creature, but keeping a version of it for yourself!
A Shadow of the Truth is pretty strong for a 1MV counterspell, especially since most players tap out or come close to it when casting spells. Having 1 or 2 mana extra is pretty typical, but 5 or 6 for a 5MV creature is unlikely. And in that case, you neutralize your opponent's threats, and gain one of your own (even as a 1/1) -- plus get some ETB or eventual die trigger in there, too. That's a little too much for just one mana.
I'd have to know the larger context of these to rate the second ability. Getting a +1/+1 token each turn isn't that great (especially since you do risk combat to get it), and I'm not certain how you'd be sure your opponent would ever get a Mirror token ... or that they would definitely have one when you expect them to, since they can sacrifice it. So, altogether, it feels a little weird as a card.

This is kind of interesting. It basically blows up any "square" creature (one with power equal to its toughness). Unfortunately, it doesn't trigger any ETB effects (though it might trigger leaves or dies effects), and you're not likely to nab a cool utility creature this way. It's a good rattlesnake card, that will most likely get the opponent with the biggest critter on the block to avoid attacking you.spacemonaut wrote: ↑1 year agoMirrorsteel Servant

Hey there, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker (and Fable of the Mirror-Breaker // Reflection of Kiki-Jiki)! Wasn't quite expecting you. The haste+vigilance+tap is a really sweet combination. The requirement to sacrifice a creature seems very un-blue (and only minorly red) but keeps it from becoming an entirely infinite loop -- until Kiki-Jiki does reach the Doubling Season. (The Mirror Gallery seems like an odd choice, since the tokens it creates are non-legendary).Sporegorger_Dragon wrote: ↑1 year agoKiki-Jiki, Mirrors Shattered

Unbroken Mirror can get silly very quickly with any go-wide strategy, especially with any large creature that provides an anthem effect. I suppose there's an argument waiting for creatures which provide a power boost to themselves, or have variable power. That being said, I really like this card and want to build a deck for it,Mergatroid_Jones wrote: ↑1 year agoUnbroken Mirror

It took me a while before I figured out the connection to Breena, the Demagogue -- hate to say it, but with so many sets coming out recently, I haven't kept up like I used to. Pretty interesting rattlesnake card; though it may just mean that your opponents will always attack with a sacrificial mook to absorb the counters. I'd probably spec it so the other player has to put the counters on an attacking creature, which dulls the threat to you.
Hmm. It's not quite scry or surveil. Nice that you can bin the top three if you don't like them; but I'd probably make it look 3 → put on top or on bottom of library → draw a card, because everyone seems to agree that shuffling sucks.
While I've come to despise tokens with built-in abilities -- it's a relic of having lived through 4th through 6th editions, and dealing with Walls and Legends having innate abilities, and then all the arguing about taking those away -- well, it's also having a glut of Gold and then Treasure tokens, then Food and Food and Food and Food, and then the Strixhaven tokens (I can't even remember what those tokens were anymore -- Fractals? Inkblots? Shards? Somethings?) -- well, I actually like the Mirror tokens ability, because I like that the optional sacrifice means you may not necessarily build up a ton of them, and, let's face it, looking at a card isn't really worth all that much. I'd probably remove the mana cost to activate it, or, possibly, increase it, but add the ability to look at any player's library.Megiddo wrote: ↑1 year agoDramatic Makeover

I enjoy this Bubble Snare/Brink of Disaster kind of thing. I might move the generic cost to the kicker since the base card isn't that strong, I think. There's something as well to be said that this triggers on untapping rather than tapping (which is far, far more common). Punishing attacking after the fact vs. punishing it immediately lowers the power level here significantly. Worth asking why it's this way (obviously the current wording prevents this from being Disfigure since they have to untap first), but I'm open to hearing thoughts on that.spacemonaut wrote: ↑1 year agoBedrid

You are right that this is unfun. There's a couple of creatures that do this (Harbinger of Night and Midnight Banshee), but having this on an enchantment is pretty mean. Pestilence got it right back in the day by going away when there were no creatures. I don't know that this would be oppressively good or anything these days (Magic has really changed a lot!) but it wouldn't be a fun card for casual players.Mergatroid_Jones wrote: ↑1 year agoDoom

The name Impending Doom is sadly taken already. But that's OK. This one reminds me more of Reality Acid, though without the combo possibilities. Maybe Inevitable End should be part of the comparison conversation too. Anyway, this is very cheap, but three turns is a LONG time without any value in the meantime. I think this needs something else to make it playable.Sporegorger_Dragon wrote: ↑1 year agoImpeding Doom

Speaking of something else. Could there be a set where Doom counters were the primary counter? That would be something. If so, I doubt you could print this card at . Though that does have the juices flowing a little bit. Maybe not a counter, but a status? Like imagine: "Target creature becomes doomed" with a helper card you slip under it. Doomed being a status like Monstrous. Maybe "Cursed?" Anyway, as for the actual card, this is fine. If this is the ONLY card that does doom counters in its set: I like that it combos with multiple copies of itself, and it has a weak way to self-combo. I think I'd like this to have even just slightly better stats so that you'd be more willing to play it. Even a 2/1 for or something would make it more attractive.Juancu wrote: ↑1 year agoRoaming Bansee
Creature - Banshee (U)
When Roaming Banshee enters the battlefield, destroy target permanent with a doom counter on it.
When Roaming Bashee dies, shuffle it into your library. If you do, put a doom counter on a creature or planeswalker an opponent controls, then scry 2.

Lucrative Vandalism
Sorcery (R)
Destroy all noncreature artifacts. For each artifact put into a graveyard this turn, create a Treasure token or Food token chosen at random.
It's said mysterious tiny fae hide rupees and other trinkets under rocks, among tall grass, and, indeed, inside clay pots.
Indeed they could be reflavored as Rupee and Heart tokens, but that doesn't feel strictly necessary.
Kholdstare, Icy Gaze
Legendary Creature - Elemental Eye (R)
Vigilance, hexproof from all but red
: Put a stun counter on target nonland permanent.

Wallmaster
Creature - Hand (U)
Flash
Whenever Wallmaster blocks or becomes blocked by one or more creatures, you may put Wallmaster and each creature blocking or blocked by it on top of their owners' libraries, then those players shuffle.
