Time Spiral Remastered is a love letter from WotC to the MTG Commander, Modern, and Draft communities. So many good cards, so many good reprints. Heck, I'd be happy to get an old-border Wastes.

There is only one card on the old-frame sheet I would not be happy to get, and that is Primeval Titan, for obvious reasons.

To whom it may concern:

Happy international Womens Day!

Of course the same to all trans women, enbys, gender fluid persons and others oppressed by patriarchy.

Last night I had someone second main phase a Pearl Lake Ancient and then bounce it, returning 3 lands. Move to discard, discard 2 cards. I've never felt so flexed on in a game of EDH before in my life.

Nope... they discarded one of the lands and something else. There were an Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait deck not a graveyard deck.

As a quick update, you will now notice that the official list of primers thread has been moved to the main page of the Commander subsection, hopefully to give everyone's shiny awesome primers a bit more visibility, perusability and traffic through the threads.

Y'all can thank Feyd_Ruin and Cryogen for this one, we just nagged them into it :P

Some random thoughts for today.

- I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2, and even though it's 77 degrees Fahrenheit and I'm dressed in a shirt and pants, every single NPC is in the habit of telling me I need to dress warmer.
- One of my decks has four cards with the word "Arcane" in it.
- I used to devour live music in my twenties, and even in recent years made it to one or two shows a year. My favorite venues in DC (9:30 Club and the Anthem) lay dormant, and I wanna go so BAD!
Can you name all of the creature types with at least 20 cards? Try my Sporcle Quiz! Last Updated: 2/18/22 (Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty)

2020 was the first year since 2006 that i've been to less than 10 concerts. A mere 2.
And 2021 is on course for even less, unfortunately.

A couple of years ago I went to Sylman's for lunch, hit up the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and then watched Metric live. Probably the most enjoyable day of my life so far.

I had tickets to see 6 bands in 2020 on my bucket list and only 2 of the shows were prior to the lockdowns, so I feel your pain.

Without knowing anything about the restaurant or the museum, that sounds like a nice day.

I only had 2 planned shows cancelled in 2020, but it's still no fun. I'm definitely looking forward to live music being a thing again.

Sylman's is a deli that has fantastic reuben sandwiches and I worked at a jewish deli for a couple years so my bar for reubens is really really high. I hadn't had a really good reuben in a few years either so I was really looking forward to eating there.

Cleveland Museum of Natural History is pretty nice. It isn't quite as nice as Chicago's or DC's but its not bad by any stretch either. I went to the planetarium with my girlfriend and that was quite awesome. I hadn't been to a planetarium since I was a kid.

I'd also wanted to see Metric live for probably 7 years at this point. It was a perfect storm of things that I hadn't done / had wanted to do for several years and nothing was disappointing.

I'm planning to go to New York with my brother later in the summer, hopefully we'll be hitting up some of the jewish delis there.

It's amusing how much I like jewish delis considering I'm not jewish. I've got lots of good memories from working at that one. Lots of interesting bad memories too, but that comes with restaurant life.

I used to play GTA:Online, but RockStar's unwillingness to deal with the hackers and griefers in the game made me quit. It eventually got so bad that I couldn't even leave my apartment in the game without getting a rocket up my ass. The constant solicitation because I chose to play with a female avatar didn't bloody help either.
I was literally willing to pay Rockstar a monthly (reasonable) fee to be able to have a password protected session in which I could play with my friends and do all my daily quests and business stuff without risking getting destroyed constantly by the same assholes over and over again. But alas.

Yes, I do play games on PC. Although I do own a Switch, I rarely play games on it. I don't play a lot of games at the moment. My old motherboard crapped out on me a couple of months ago, and the new one doesn't like me playing games of my external HD, and now my mouse has started to fail as well. So I am saving up a bit for a new secondary internal HD and a new mouse to fix my gaming problems.

As for Skyrim and Xbox, I have good news, Microsoft has acquired Zenimax (It was approved Wednesday), a deal that included all their game studios, including Bethesda Softworks, so Skyrim is not only coming to Gamepass, it will be the Special Edition, and comes with a graphics boost. If you've ever played the Special Edition of Skyrim, you know it is a HUGE boost in graphics quality between the original and the Special Edition.

I actually just reinstalled GTA V for online play on my PC because my brother and I found a few ways to fix the online play feel via messing with our internet once we both load to a server.

That trick is only a temporary fix, it usually doesn't take more than 30 minutes before Rockstar starts dropping other players in your instance. You used to be able to have it for yourself with possibly only people you invited, but the pandemic meant more people played the game more, which reduced the time you had for yourself a lot. Unfortunately. :\

Congrats, on PC unless you are part of a large group that plays together, you get swarmed by people on rocket bikes as soon as you start a mission from one of your businesses. Expect a constant barrage of missiles and grenades from the moment you leave to do the mission until you are blown up, and then they keep targeting you for an additional 20 minutes for good measure. And that is not even accounting for the hackers and modders, which Rockstar never deals with. But woe to you if you find an ingame exploit that doesn't involve hacking the game, boom, insta-ban with no chance of appeal (Never used such exploits myself, but I know of plenty of people who have.)

I just dropped $1100 on parts to upgrade my pc. The current setup I have I bought six years ago and I am realizing I need to refresh it lol. I still have a few things I could probably do with upgrading yet but it felt like I am dumping most of the core components for upgrades. I got a new cpu, motherboard, ram, monitor, and fan. I probably need to update my GPU in the next year or two also but it wasn't what was holding me back at this time so I am just hoping my old one is compatible with my new motherboard.

It will take that long for prices and supply to go back to normal,it's cheaper and quicker for me to buy a pre-built than to buy the parts by themselves this is the one i'm keeping an eye on https://www.newegg.com/abs-ali490/p/N82E16883360085 once i get my stimmy money,i'm gonna get it along with a 1TB ssd.

I've heard a lot of people complaining over the prices of computer components over the last year or so, particularly the exorbitant prices of graphics cards. But as I pointed out to a friend, the pandemic has wreaked havoc with the producers of computer parts's supply lines. They simply can't get the resources they need to make their products because of closed borders, lockdowns, and so on.
