Long ago,
Achadire's besetting disease - the Planar Plague - had a real name:
Brazenpox. And not only that, it was named by its makers, the advanced civilizations that ran the plane each contributing a symptom or vector, fully aware of what they were doing, all hoping to build the ultimate disease for their own reasons concealed from the others. A time anomaly allows the one person who could discover the truth to view its origins.
