With this deck, the challenge I wanted to attempt was trying to make "voltron without voltron" - that is, only use Rayami's ability to eat keywords to power her up - no equipment, no auras, no counters - nothing.

Obviously, some keywords take priorities over others - indestructible, in particular, is very critical to how this deck wants to function, and hexproof is an additional layer of protection to make our commander extremely hard to kill. This emphasis on indestructibility lets us run tons of board wipes, with the knowledge that we'll usually be leaving an empty field for Rayami to swing in on.

I went a bit light on keyword creatures - for a few reasons. One is that our opponents can probably be counted upon for a decent number of them. Another is that many keyword creatures are pretty terrible if I've already gotten the keyword elsewhere. And a third is that in most cases, it's more efficient to tutor for an extremely useful keyword creature than rely on luck of the draw.

not included because they weren't in my collection mostly because they're garbage, but left here for posterity in case I want to add them later

Value

1 Journey to Eternity (oops, this is obviously terrible and a mistake)
Approximate Total Cost:

Ok, so I made the intro like a month ago, and then actually played it. It was reasonably effective I guess - I won a solid number of games (I think 2 out of 3, or 3 out of 4, or something), but damn it was a bit boring to play. It was a bit like Phelddagrif, except minus the fun political intrigue and instead pissing everyone off with a hexproof + indestructible commander and a million board wipes. And since there's no real way to reverse her progress, people tend to get rather anxious as she racks up powerful keywords and it's hard not to become the focus, which forces you to play heavy control (unlike pheldd which allows a light touch). If I was doing it again, I'd include equipment and stuff to speed things up...there's really not enough global wipes in the colors to justify leaving all that stuff out.

Hilariously, the 2 colors we don't get are WAAAAY better at that sort of thing. Safe to say Rayami would be very gross as a boros commander - easy double strike, and if you can get indestructible into jokulhaups that's going to close the game out pretty easily. In these colors, it just plays as a decent control deck with a somewhat tedious wincon.
