Psst, check the second page of Custom Card Contests & Games! Because of the daily contests, a lot of games fall down to there.

Dayum. That's some seriously hideous photoshopped mess of an artwork. Card itself is cool, tho.

Wow, thanks, I hate this hatebear. Torpor Orb + anti-death triggers feels like they printed Yarok and Teysa and decided to just make sure jank can't have too much fun. At least its body isn't amazing - dies to all removal, but is only 1 power. A fine sideboard/commander card.

Ugh what's going on in that art? Weird photos of lips and some photoshopped looking ring of red lips with clash the rest of the artwork, it would have looked absolutely fine without any of these lip based abominations. Honestly it's a strong card, great, but I think the artwork here makes me actually cringe too much to want to see in-play.

I would never said that a Magic art is Kitsch, but with all those belt lips, it wins the crown of kitchness and bad taste hands down.
Really, without all this awkward lips-belt, I would even say that this could be easily be one of the best art of the set. It's really true that often less is more.

I must disagree. I love the art. It's unique and dynamic. Really sets the tone of the card. This artist does amazing art for white cards.The_Greasy_Strangler wrote: ↑4 years agoDayum. That's some seriously hideous photoshopped mess of an artwork. Card itself is cool, tho.

The thing is, the faerie itself and the background are great. It's that damned belt of red lips that's rubbing me the wrong way. It adds nothing and sticks out like a sore thumb because of the color contrast with the rest of the piece.Jace wrote: ↑4 years agoI must disagree. I love the art. It's unique and dynamic. I had to recheck the creature type after seeing the lip attendants that they didn't accidentally printed a Return to Kamigawa card instead.The_Greasy_Strangler wrote: ↑4 years agoThe thing is, the faerie itself and the background are great.
