I'm interested to see why they did the three different versions of Chandra in one set. That's basically all I know of the set, is it gonna delve more into back stories for them? I thought that was Origins though

I've been pretty happy with the spoilers so far. Not very many cards for my cube, but the set overall seems fun to draft.

I like the spoilers more every day, but I tend to enjoy core sets

overall it has been good. The reprint of the leylines. Dropping Leyline of the Void price to be finally affordable.

also excited to test Cavalier of Gales in my deck. :)

I'm a simple man who likes elementals. I see a set with an elemental theme, I like the set lol.

Elementals are in a good place with this set. Risen Reef is going to be an interesting uncommon to watch going forward, as it can provide some serious value in the right deck.

My favorite core set alongside Magic Origins. It was absolutely phenomenal. Literally all of my Commander decks received amazing new cards. I loved all the thematic cards, the exceptional artwork and high quality print of the pre-release kit cards. They looked so vibrant, saturated and richly inked, and the card stock was sturdy and glossy like the Japanese card stock. This was only the case for the pre-release kit cards, not cards from boxes or prize packs. Must be different printers, but M20 had the best card quality ever for the pre-release cards. I was thrilled to get my favorite cards glossy like that. The set had many cards I wanted, and all my decks are in a far more interesting place for it.

A+ grade for the set from me.

I am interested in Mu Yanling and her card is beautifully illustrated, but a part of me feels sore she wasn't Tamiyo instead honestly.

After playing with the set for a while the most stand out card is blood for bones. its back braking with the black elemental knight which gets back your rotting dino and flicker the knight or cheat out an 8/8 demon.

Looks like one of the best core sets and I hope a model of core sets going forward. I also like that they are now going to try and shuffle around the core set walkers to show off the diversity of the characters and color which I think is great in a lot of ways.

I love and hate Elementals. All I need to say is that I also like Plants and green Elementals, while sometimes Plants, aren't always — even if they could.

One of the best core sets imo. The uncommons are so good you can build around then. Almost every single rare is interesting and contributes to some.format. The draft is amazing, the best one since Dominaria.

The art is spot on, my only complaint is, I would like just a little bit more coherence. For example, one instant/sorcery depicting young chandra in action and another for Mu would be cool. Think of 7th edition where we got many cards showing the cardinal paladins.

And I gotta agree, 3 chandras was a bit of a overkill. But all 3 cards are cool so I'm not complaining. If anything the only disapoitment is the Chavalier cycle. I dont like the cards, they are over complicated and unflavorful except for the black one.
