Sites I've used have featured a shoutbox or a small thread attached to the profile where you can post miscellania that doesn't really fit a full thread or justify making one. I've kinda been itching for that type of thing... I'm not posting here as much as I wanna because even though my head's full of magic stuff it usually revolves around casual variants and never really suits the mood of the forum (right now: custom card creation, Commander and apocalyptic Modern posting, giggle) so the stuff never gets said. If you were following another member you could get some indication that they'd posted something other than a thread, if you see.
I'm not sure if other users would find this necessary or not but it'd suit me. Just an idle suggestion!

myanimelist forum and animesuki forum both have that feature, I find it useful since there are friends I regularly talk with on both sites.
it's easier casually posting on someone's profile than clicking the pm button. Well, we do still use pm.. but that's for things that cannot be said out in the open. But for easy talk, we use the post to profile feature.
latest posts on my profile.. I go to their profiles to reply. I don't post on own profile.
although, the question is.. would this feature be useful in an mtg forum? Trying to have something like this would be more work for Feyd.

Hmm.... The feature could be useful, if for nothing else discussions about non-MTG related stuff that isn't exactly private, but perhaps not suited for PM's. Particularly not if multiple people would join into the discussion.
PM's are best for one on one, after all. But in the end, it is really up to the people running MTGNexus, would they find is useful, or would it lead to a lot more work for little benefit.

let me look into how feasible it would be to add this.
I have no issues with it, but if it'll be more complex, we might have to back burner it while I work on other things.
